Margecianske Fajnoty

CULTURAL PROGRAMM

The festival offers visitors a rich cultural programme divided between the Main Stage and the Small Stage, as well as a dedicated Children’s Fun Zone. Throughout both days, the stages feature entertainment for children and adults. The programme includes children’s folk ensembles, folk groups and ensembles from all over Slovakia, primary art schools and international folk ensembles.

FOOD & DRINK

The programme takes place in the Gastro Tent and focuses primarily on the presentation of Slovak and international cuisine. It also includes wine presentations and tastings. The food programme provides an overview of the dishes you can taste during the festival. On Saturday, the selection focuses on traditional Slovak cuisine, while Sunday is dedicated to international and professional cuisine.

The Margecianske Fajnoty 2025 festival comes alive in the centre of Margecany! Explore the different zones filled with aromas, flavours and entertainment – from food stalls and craft stands to children’s attractions and music stages.

TRANSPORT & CENTRAL PARKING

You can reach the festival by car, bus or train. A central car park is available behind the railway station in the Olše area. A shuttle bus runs from the car park directly to the festival entrance every 30 minutes.

Wine Tasting

Join us for a unique evening full of flavours and aromas – a Tokaj wine tasting with Michal, taking place on Friday, 17 October 2025 at 19:00 at Cukráreň Margecany (Partizánska 72/48).

Sightseeing Bus

During Margecianske Fajnoty 2025, you can take advantage of the sightseeing bus, which will comfortably take you to interesting places around Margecany.

Fajnová Dance School

Experience an evening full of rhythm, energy and folklore! On Friday, 17 October 2025 at 19:00, the Fajnová Dance School will take place at the Cultural Centre in Veľký Folkmar – an international dance event featuring dancers from Slovakia, Lithuania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

FESTIVAL CURRENCY

Only Fajnoše, the festival’s own currency, can be used for payments at the event. You can exchange money for Fajnoše at the main ticket office.
